A few ways to add Disney to your outfit

If you’re a Disney fan, then you probably try to wear something related to Disney everyday. It’s cute, mostly easy, and fun to do. Adding a bit of Disney magic to my outfits is one of my favourite things to do!

Wear Disney socks

Just because not many people will see them, who says you still can’t wear cute socks? It’s a subtle way to do it and also ensures that you are comfortable. There’s so many types of socks to choose from, each with a different design, making them suitable for all ages.

Whether it’s a bracelet, a watch, a charm on a bracelet, a hair accessory, a hat. Maybe even a necklace, a ring or anklet. The list goes on and on. This is also a pretty easy way to add Disney magic to your outfit, and is also subtle, if you don’t want many people to see it. There; you now also have an excuse to go shopping and treat yourself!

What easier way to add Disney to your outfit and morning routine than having a Disney brush? You can also then keep it with you for the rest of the day, to keep the magic alive.

You can get a Disney top from pretty much anywhere these days; Disney parks/stores, a supermarket, other random shops, online websites. Or, if you want to get creative, you could buy an iron-on patch. That way, you’ll be able to design it the way you like, have whatever character you like. You could even sew a Disney character on to your clothes.

If you don’t know what Disneybounding is, it’s basicallyย when you pick a character to portray a fashionable outfit that resembles a colour scheme and pattern of that character. So, for example, if you wanted to Disneybound as Rapunzel, you could get a purple dress, or, like me, a pink top and purple skirt, with dolly shoes and put a flower in your hair, wearing similar makeup. That’s it!

Though this can sometimes be difficult, they are pretty fun to do and help your creativity and imagination grow. I haven’t got many Disneybound outfits (only Rapunzel from Tangled, Roxanne from A Goofy Movie and Gaston from Beauty and the Beast), but I am planning on making more. You don’t necessarily have to go out and buy clothes, because you’d be surprised by how many clothes of your own can go with a certain character. But it may help with some characters.

Wear a bow

Quite a lot of characters wear bows (mainly classics), so this would be a pretty cute way to add Disney to your outfit. Whether it be in your hair, a pattern on a piece of clothing or bag.

Inspired hairstyle/makeup

I love doing my hair and/or makeup like some of my favourite Disney characters! You can find many examples and tips on YouTube. They’re surprisingly easy to do. Right now, if I have enough time, I enjoy doing my hair like Cinderella (2015). I don’t curl my hair, I just do the plaits. But, I honestly don’t do a very good job at it, though, but I can only get better…. Hopefully.

I don’t own these images, they belong to Disney

Wear polka-dots!

Embrace your inner Minnie Mouse, and wear those polka dots with pride! They’re a fun pattern to have which can go with pretty much anything. Even polka-dot dolly shoes will help you add that magic to your outfit.

I know this isn’t adding anything to your outfit. But, a Disney pen or ruler or something, can help cheer you up whilst in school.

Having a Disney purse/bag with you can easily show people who you love Disney, and could help cheer them up as well, by adding magic to their life (for a few seconds, anyway). Disney bags and purses may not be the easiest things to find for a good price anymore, but online stores are probably the best ways to find something. I bought my Disney bag from the Disney Store, and my purse from New Look. Both of which were on sale; what a bargain!
