Mother’s Day inspired Disney quotes

Since it’s Mother’s Day tomorrow, I thought it’d be a nice idea to have a cute, fun blog post with a “Mother’s Day” theme. It might help with that personalised card message and inspire some creativity. Who knows? So here are some of the best quotes I found.

“Listen, all around you are spirits, child. They live in the earth, water, stars, if you listen they will guide you. Listen with your heart, you will understand.”

This beauty was said by Grandmother Willow in the film Pocahontas.

“I will always be right here.”

This is said by Queen Elinor in Brave.

“I just want you to be happy, whatever you decide… you will always be my son.”

This is said by Kala in Tarzan.

“Baby mine, don’t you cry. Baby mine, dry your eyes. Rest your head close to my heart.”

This is sang by Dumbo’s mam in the classic movie, Dumbo.

“You have more power than you realize. When the time comes you will know what to do.”

Mrs. Incredible says this quote in the movie, The Incredibles.

“You may hear a voice inside. And if that voice starts to whisper, to follow the brightest star. Moana, that voice inside is who you are.”

This is said by Moana’s Grandmother in the newest Disney film, Moana. It’s pretty similar to Grandmother Willows quote… what a coincidence 😉

“If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.”

This was said by Thumper in the film Bambi, but I included it because it’s what Thumper’s mother taught him.

“Where there is kindness, there is goodness. And where there is goodness, there is magic. Have courage and be kind.”

One of my favourite Disney quotes ever! This is said by Cinderella’s mother in the new Cinderella movie.

“Even miracles take a little time”

This is said by Cinderella’s fairy Godmother.

“In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.  You find the fun and snap! The job’s a game”

This is said by Mary Poppins. She’s not exactly a mother, but, she is a mother figure, so I had to include this quote!

“A mother, with her intuition, will know just what to do”

This is a lyric from a song featured in the movie Piglet’s Big Movie. What a cute movie!
